We had an inspirational trip the Tate Liverpool today. An international modern and contemporary art gallery nestled in the picturesque setting of the Albert docks.
We explored the current Jackson Pollock exhibition; Blind Spots. Widely acclaimed to be the must see exhibition of the year. Running parallel with this exhibition we also got to see the Glenn Ligon exhibition; Encounters and Collisions.
After a cultural cup of tea in the Tate café, oh and a little Jackson Pollock inspired cup cake. We then had time to explore the rest of what the Liverpool Waterfront had to offer. A quick look in the Merseyside Maritime museum, and the Liverpool Museum.
There was so much to do we didn’t get chance to fit it all in.
